Young Armi Airaksinen wrote those words in her diary, without knowing what fate her life would have. The girl grew up to be Armi Ratia, a woman with a strong will, whose most famous creation is the company called Marimekko
Armi’s son, designer Ristomatti Ratia, wanted to honour the memory of his mother. He created a piece of jewellery, which carries the message onward. Beauty, love and dream-like messages of hope from generation to generation.
